PARKING NONSENSE !
While residential streets in Highams Park often get clogged with parked vehicles, the car-park off LARKSHALL ROAD is an under-used resource ! If only commuters used the car-park more, just think how much easier things might be in local streets! Is it the £2 per day fee that puts them off – or are they concerned about possible vandalism? We should welcome your views on this issue. What could be done to encourage greater use of this car-park and free up more space in streets for local residents - and shoppers? Particularly if the Tesco development goes ahead, it will be important to ensure that local shops do not suffer.
