- and here's the good news! NO CONGESTION !
It must be holiday time ! About 8.30am at the top of THE CHARTER ROAD and not a parked car in sight, dropping off pupils for Woodford High School. In term time there is often traffic congestion and sometimes chaos near many of our local schools and the morning and late afternoon traffic is particularly heavy because of the "school run". Perhaps there could be more shared journeys, greater use of public transport - or dare one suggest that more pupils might actually walk?!

Looks like a good read !
Local Liberal Democrats welcome the colourful mural in the subway at Highams Park station and congratulate the pupils of Highams Park School on their work.
[In fact the idea was first discussed in 1999 between the Lib Dems, the rail authorities and the school].
