“LET’S GET DOWN TO THE REAL ISSUES”
“The Conservatives are picking on opportunistic issues designed to shore up their core vote, such as immigration, asylum, gypsies.
What Britain needs is a debate about promoting greater trust in government and improving our society.
Health, education, how we treat elderly people, putting the environment at the heart of policy, working towards a fairer society – these are some of the key issues that I want to see on the agenda.
Britain deserves better than tit-for-tat squabbling between the two major parties.
This election will give people a real chance to go for a new agenda.”
