A VITAL MATTER
AN ISSUE WE CANNOT - AND MUST NOT - IGNORE: IRAQ
Today the Liberal Democrat campaign turns the spotlight on IRAQ.
Local candidate John Beanse says:
"This is an absolutely vital issue. Never again must this country be taken into war on a false prospectus. The Conservatives were the cheerleaders for this war - led at the time by our own local Tory MP. What will Labour or the Tories do next if they are returned to power? IT IS TIME TO HOLD BOTH LABOUR AND THE CONSERVATIVES TO ACCOUNT ON THIS ISSUE. It was the Liberal Democrats that opposed military action and were united in voting against the war. May 5th is your chance to have your say on this matter."
