Graham Woolnough on Chingford Green
Chingford Green ward Liberal Democrat candidate GRAHAM WOOLNOUGH in front of the cottages on the Green.
To the right of the picture are the steps to Chingford Assembly Hall, soon to benefit from considerable Council investment in a much needed refurbishment which has long been advocated by local people and the Lib Dems.

I wouldn't be too proud of the refurbishment considering the fiasco its been.
Ignoring local wishes, spending stupid amounts on designs, kicking community groups out of there and Friday Hill House only for the plans to be dropped because nobody thought to check that the existing structure can support the extra floors.
(I realise C&WG LibDems didn't have much to do with the plans, it seems to have been something of Clyde Loakes and Maureen Green's pet project)
At least the refurbishment will be closer to what people originally wanted, but not after a massive waste of tax payer's money.
