Back the call to bring our troops out of Iraq

Lib Dems have called again for troops to be brought home from Iraq.
As Sir Ming Campbell said: "It is time to recognise that British troops can do no more in Iraq. Their professionalism and dedication has been outstanding and their courage has been beyond belief. The Government is failing to answer the fundamental question about the military purpose they are serving and the political objective they are achieving by their continued presence. The level of casualties is unacceptable. We have a moral obligation to the young men and women of our armed forces. We should now set a framework for their withdrawal from Iraq."
PETITION
You can back the call by signing the special petition. Please click here on http://www.ourcampaign.org.uk/iraq

Comments:
Thank goodness somebody is doing something! I have signed the Petition and hope that it gets the Gov. to agree with Ming. I agreed with us going in to Iraq to get rid of Saddam but I couldn't believe it when it seemed nobody had thought about what to do when he went. Surely plans were in place about how the country would be run upon his demise.
My son-in-law served in Iraq and thanfully came back OK and each time there are other casulaties I can only think its time for the Iraqi people to take control of their lives even if it isn't the way we would live. I am sure the majority of the people want to live in peace and its time for them to find their own way. We can't nursemaid them forever.
